NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING

OF THE TOWN OF CAREFREE COMMON COUNCIL

WHEN:    TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2015   

WHERE:    CAREFREE TOWN HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TIME:    5:00 P.M.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Common Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Common Council will hold a meeting open to the public at the Carefree Town Hall Council Chambers located at 100 Easy Street, in Carefree, Arizona.

For any item listed on the agenda, the Council may vote to go into Executive Sessions for advice of counsel and/or to discuss records and information exempt by law or rule from public inspection, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues §38-431.03.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

One or more members of the Council may be unable to attend the meeting in person and may participate by technological means or methods pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431(4).

AGENDA:

ITEM #1    Review, discussion, and possible action to appoint a mayor to serve the remaining term of the vacant mayoral seat and other vacancies that may be required by that appointment as directed by Chapter 2 of the Carefree Town Code.

ITEM #2    Review, discussion, and possible action to appoint a committee to review applications for the vacancy on the Carefree Town Council and make recommendations the appointment of a selected candidate.

ITEM #3    Adjournment.
