Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Common Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Common Council will hold a meeting open to the public on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at the Carefree Town

Council Chambers located at 100 Easy Street, in Carefree.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

Call to Order, Silent Roll Call

ITEM #1- Discussion and possible action regarding selection of a marketing agency for the

Town.

ITEM #2- Fiscal year 2012-13 budget workshop.

ITEM 3- Adjournment.

CONSENT AGENDA

All items listed hereunder are considered to be routine by the Common Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be discussed separately:

ITEM #1- A. Approval of March 6, 2012 Town Council Regular Meeting Minutes

B.Approval of March 14, 2012 Special Town Hall Meeting Minutes

ITEM #2- Ratification of March, 2012 paid bills.

ITEM #3- Discussion and possible action regarding approval of additional Pro-Tem Judge of Lianne Sefcovic for the Carefree Municipal Court.

REGULAR AGENDA:

ITEM #4- Call to the Public: Consideration and discussion of comments and complaints from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7 G of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(G), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or

rescheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date. The public

may address the Council on any matter not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open

call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticism

made by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter or

may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda; however, the Council may not take

action at this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.

ITEM #6- Discussion and possible action regarding the cash receipts and disbursements report for February, 2012.

ITEM #7- Discussion and possible action regarding a Proclamation naming April, 2012 as

Parkinson’s Awareness month in the Town of Carefree.

ITEM #8- Discussion and possible action regarding application for Liquor License 10076254, owner Raymond Haw Klemp, AZ Wine Company, Paradise Valley Wine Outlet, LLC for a new Series 10, beer and wine store, license for AZ Spirits at 100 Easy Street, Carefree.

ITEM #9- Discussion and possible action regarding Sampling Privileges to Series 10 Beer and Wine Store License Number 10076254S, for Raymond Haw Klemp, AZ Spirits at 100 Easy Street, Carefree

ITEM #10- Discussion and possible action regarding Town Council serving four year staggered terms.
