NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN OF CAREFREE COMMON COUNCIL

WHEN: TUESDAY, MAY 7, 2013

WHERE: CAREFREE TOWN HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TIME: 5:00 P.M.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Common Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Common Council will hold a meeting open to the public on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Carefree Town Hall Council Chambers located at 100 Easy Street, in Carefree.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

Call to Order, Silent Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance.

ITEM #1- Councilman Gimson Award and Comments.

CONSENT AGENDA

All items listed hereunder are considered to be routine by the Common Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be discussed separately:

ITEM #2- A. Approval of April 2, 2013 Town Council Executive Session Minutes.

B. Approval of April 2, 2013 Regular Town Council Meeting Minutes.

C. Approval of April 10, 2013 Executive Session Minutes.

500. D.Approval of April 16, 2013 Special Meeting and Budget Workshop Meeting Minutes.
     

ITEM #3- Acceptance into the public record of the April 2013 paid bills.

REGULAR AGENDA:

ITEM #4- Call to the Public: Consideration and discussion of comments and complaints from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7 G of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(G), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or

rescheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date. The public

may address the Council on any matter not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open

call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticism

made by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter or

may ask that a matter be put on a future agenda; however, the Council may not take

action at this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.

ITEM #5- Current Events.

ITEM #6- Discussion and possible action regarding the cash receipts and disbursements report for February, 2013.

ITEM #7- Discussion and possible action regarding tentative adoption of the Town of Carefree Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-14 and call for a special meeting and public hearing thereon.

ITEM #8- Discussion and possible action regarding approval of a Class 12 Interim Permit and New License for Alberto Liani, business name Alberto, 7171 E. Cave Creek Road, Carefree.
