NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING

OF THE TOWN OF CAREFREE COMMON COUNCIL

WHEN:TUESDAY, JULY 22, 2014

WHERE: CAREFREE TOWN HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TIME:5:00 P.M.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Common Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Common Council will hold a meeting open to the public on Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at the Carefree Town Hall Council Chambers located at 100 Easy Street, in Carefree, Arizona.

For any item listed on the agenda, the Council may vote to go into Executive Sessions for advice of counsel and/or to discuss records and information exempt by law or rule from public inspection, pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues §38-431.03.

CALL TO ORDER AND SILENT ROLL CALL

One or more members of the Council may be unable to attend the meeting in person and may participate by technological means or methods pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431(4).

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

REGULAR AGENDA:

ITEM #1Discussion and possible action regarding 3 Applications for Special Event Permits and road closures for the Thunderbird Art and Wine Festivals for Thunderbird Artists, Inc. The road closures include Ho Hum from Cave Creek Road to Easy Street, Easy Street from Wampum Way to Sundial Circle, Sundial Circle to Nonchalant and Sunshine Place from the west side of the entrance to Town Hall parking to Sundial Circle for the following dates:

A.Thursday, October 30, 2014 set-up beginning after 5:00 p.m., for the event being held Friday through Sunday, October 31, November 1-2, 2014, and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

B.Thursday, January 15, 2015 set-up beginning after 5:00 p.m., for the event being held Friday through Sunday, January 16, 17 and 18, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

C.Thursday, February 26, 2015 set-up beginning after 5:00 p.m., for the event being held Friday through Sunday, February 27-28,  2015 and March 1, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
