NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING

OF THE TOWN OF CAREFREE COMMON COUNCIL

WHEN: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2011

WHERE: CAREFREE TOWN HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TIME: 5:00 P.M.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Common Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Common Council will hold a meeting open to the public on Tuesday September 13, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at the Carefree Town Hall Council Chambers located at 100 Easy Street, in Carefree.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

Call to Order, Silent Roll Call and Pledge of Allegiance.

CONSENT AGENDA

All items listed hereunder are considered to be routine by the Common Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be discussed separately:

ITEM #1- Approval of August 3, 2011 Regular Town Council Meeting Minutes.

ITEM #2- Ratification of August 2011 paid bills.

REGULAR AGENDA:

ITEM #3- Call to the Public: Consideration and discussion of comments and complaints from the public. Pursuant to Section 2-4-7 G of the Town Code and A.R.S. 38-431.01(G), those wishing to address the Council need not request permission in advance. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or

rescheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date. The public

may address the Council on any matter not on the agenda. At the conclusion of an open

call to the public, individual members of the public body may respond to criticism made

by those who have addressed the public body, may ask staff to review a matter or may

ask that a matter be put on a future agenda; however, the Council may not take action at

this time. Please limit your comments to not more than 3 minutes.

ITEM #4- Current Events

ITEM #5- Report and discussion from the Carefree Business Association (CBA).

ITEM #6- Discussion and possible action regarding a Special Event Liquor License for the

American Parkinson Disease Paws for Parkinson Dog Walk from 4-5 p.m. in the Town

Center and Parktoberfest event from 5-8 p.m. in the amphitheater on Saturday, October

29, 2011.

ITEM #7- Discussion and possible action regarding expenditure for Sundial lighting.

ITEM #8- Discussion and possible action regarding the updated cash receipts and disbursements report for June 2011.

ITEM #10- Discussion and possible action regarding expenditure for Wi-Fi in Carefree Town Center.
