At the November Council meeting, the result of the annual audit for fiscal year 2011/12 was discussed. Jim Keen reported that both the Town Hall building at 8 Sundial Circle and the fire truck debts had been retired, leaving the Town debt free. $749,00 had been allotted in the budget for this purpose, which was to be taken from reserves. At the end of the fiscal year, the reserves were only depleted by $12,226, as revenues were up and spending was controlled.

 

 

 

The auditor attended telephonically. She thanked the Town, and in particular Jim Keen and Betsy Wise, for presenting her with organized and complete information, making her job quick and easy. She confirmed that the audit was "clean".
