Bill Mack represents the Employer Support the Guard and Reserve.  He said it's not easy to find civilian jobs when one is an expert riflemen, or knows how to drive an Abrams tank, or shoot a howitzer, and encouraged employers to give the approximately 150 returning veterans a chance.

 

 

 

Mr. Mack said, "On behalf of General Mike McGuire, the State Adjutant General for the Army and International Guard both, I'd like to thank you for this award."  He received a certificate from Mayor Schwan, who informed the audience that official photos had been taken earlier.  The Mayor and Councilwoman Melissa Price thanked Mr. Mack.  The Council proclaimed September 22-26 as Employer Support the Guard and Reserve Week.
