The Carefree Desert Garden in downtown Carefree is beautiful year 'round.  The Town will again be sponsoring the annual Photo Contest which Joe Corpora and I co-chair.

 

 

 

We wanted to remind those photographers who are interested in entering their photos in January that once the nighttime weather becomes chilly, many of the plants get their styrofoam "hats" to keep the tops from freezing, so think about taking your pictures soon.  Even if you already have some photos to enter, it's always fun to keep adding.  You might get some you like even better.  The Garden is ever changing at each time of the year.  

 

 

 

We look forward to seeing many gorgeous entries again in 2015.  The contest grows each year, and the photos are always stunning.  The 2015 Carefree Garden calendar, using photos from last year's winners, will be available soon at Carefree Town Hall.  Be sure to look for our Gardens float in the Carefree Christmas Festival Parade of Lights.
