Carefree Truth

Councilman John Crane reported a recent experience his family had with the Carefree ambulance and Rural/Metro.  On Sunday, April 19th, Betsy's mother was visiting from Washington, D.C. when she needed an ambulance.  The Carefree ambulance arrived very quickly.  Tyler and Jason were the lead paramedics, and several others from the Carefree Fire Station came as well.  Mr. Crane said they did a great job.  They were at his house fast, took her to Mayo, and stayed there for a while to make sure all was well.  He thanked Chief John Kraetz and Rural/Metro.  "Well done."  Betsy's mother is now back in Washington, D.C.

 

 

 

Mayor Les Peterson added that the ambulance usually takes patients to the hospital on Thompson Peak.  But when the condition was described to them, they realized Mayo is the specialty hospital for that issue, so took Betsy's mother there.  He too thanked Rural/Metro.
