Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) District IV Captain Kip Rustenburg introduced her new deputy, Lieutenant Ryan Branios, saying that he had "grown up" here, and that it is actually a welcome home.  He drove a Carefree traffic car for 5 years, came back as a Sergeant, was gone for a couple of years at a time, and has returned once again.  

 

 

 

Lt. Branios said he started his career with MCSO in 1999.  He served the first 7 years in the Carefree/Cave Creek area, with 5 of those years in a Carefree traffic car.  About 1/3 of his 16 years with MCSO have been spent here.  "It is good to be back home".

 

 

 

Mayor Les Peterson thanked the officers of MCSO for doing "an absolutely outstanding job".  He welcomed Lt. Branios back to Carefree.
