(Lyn's note: Please feel free to send us any pictures you'd like included.  If your photos are for sale, let us know and we will put them under that category.  We have a special section for that purpose.  If anyone would like to buy a print of any of Herbert's photos, all profits will be donated to one of the local non-profit organizations.  Here is the link to this week's Pictures of the Week. Enjoy!)

(Lyn's note: This is the direct link for making donations to Binka's page on the David's Team "ALS Walk" fundraiser website. Donations will continue to be accepted through January, 2016.  http://web.alsa.org/site/TR/Walks/Arizona?px=6972161&pg=personal&fr_id=10960#.VezY7HgXzFI. Let's show our appreciation of former Mayor David Schwan, and let's help find a cure for ALS!)

Mega kudos to the current Town Council and their positions on buying versus leasing.  Mike Farrar could not have been more accurate with his statement, “that every investment is fought over, vetted, and earned”.  As one who wanted to protect the Cash Reserves, I vividly recall the discussions on whether to pay off the fire station and engine along with early discussions if the Town should expand the Town Hall with new Council Chambers.  Congratulations on the Planning Award.  May the Council keep up the good work.

John and Ted:

As we have come to expect, you two did a great job at the November 11, 2015, Veterans Day event.  Having been there, I know how much work is involved.  It gets bigger and better each year…congratulations and many, many thanks.

Arthur Gimson

(Lyn's note: As always, there will be a Carefree Truth issue on the Carefree Veteran's Day event.  But the videos take time, so it will probably be sometime next week.)

Lyn, I'm getting close to finishing the Black Mountain Coffee Shop, 2 weeks plus or minus.

Thank you,

Martin Holmes

(Lyn's note: Yippee!!!!)
