Happy Holidays to you and your family Lyn and thank you for keeping our communities informed about all the Holiday events. In the spirit of the season, the FCF will again have a "necessitree" (Christmas Tree) set up in the lobby of the Holland Center on 60th street. The "necessitree" is to aid the Foothills Food Bank families with paper products which are not covered by food stamps, but are a vital part of everyday life. These items include toothpaste, toothbrushes, paper towels, toilet paper, diapers of all sizes, baby wipes, body lotions, shampoo/conditioners, bath soap, etc. Items can be dropped off at the FCF office in the Holland Center, or under the "necessitree" and will be GREATLY appreciated.

Lyn, I wanted to thank you for your nice note to the Carefree citizens who were disturbed about the noise in Cave Creek. It is always a good reminder that Cave Creek and Carefree Town Council members are all volunteers. There are many issues that get people's spirits up, but as long as we can all sit down and talk about them in a professional and courteous manner, they can be worked out.

The ordinance proposed that evening was defeated so that the staff could meet with residents and the businesses for input. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!

Thanks again,

Jim Bruce
