Hi Lyn,

I wanted to let everyone know that Carefree/Cave Creek are going to be host to an amazing Arizona Centennial Project. In the Devil’s Frying Pan is a World Premiere play with music about the events and people that led up to Arizona’s statehood. It is officially recognized as both an Arizona Centennial Project and an Arizona Centennial Legacy Project and we are partnering with the Arizona Historical Society and looking forward to working with the Cave Creek Museum. CC Museum historian Patrick Grady has been a consultant on the project for us.

We have over 44 actors working with our award-winning playwright and director rehearsing and creating this ground-breaking new work. We are thrilled that it will be presented in a new theatrical venue we are creating just for the production in Stagecoach Village. The show introduces audiences to some amazing characters in Arizona history many of whom I, an Arizona native, had never heard about!

The project has also been accepted as a Kickstarter project. Kickstarter is an online fundraising website designed somewhat like the Groupon of fundraising. We are so looking forward to sharing this amazing work with the community and are THRILLED that we have found the perfect place right in the middle of it all for the production.
