Thanks for sharing, Lyn. We appreciate all of your hard work and input. It helps us when we are casting our vote!

Cara H.

(Lyn's note: We enjoy doing Carefree Truth, and throwing the forum was an interesting new experience that I think worked out well.  I'm pleased that you found it all helpful!)

Lyn, Betsy's retirement letter was incredible...she will be missed!

Have a healthy day,

Eileen

(Lyn's note: Amen to that.  Betsy is amazing.  Those will be tough shoes to fill.  I call her The Font of All Information.  If Betsy doesn't know it, or doesn't know how to find out, it's not worth knowing.)

I left Carefree almost 3 years ago, Betsy, but still appreciate all you did for us. The best of luck to you!!!

Jim Raymond

Children's Creative Corner Update

Unfortunately, several of our Disney and other popular dvds have disappeared. We would greatly appreciate their safe return. Due to budget constraints, we are unable to replace all of our missing children's movies.

Please remember that residents of Maricopa County (including children!) can get a library card with proof of address. A regular cardholder can check out three (3) dvds at a time.

In December,

all of our Thomas the Tank Engine trains went missing. We put out a notice that if you mistakenly took Thomas and his friends home with you, please return them so that our many families and kids may continue their adventures and fun.

While our Thomas the Tank Engine trains have not yet been returned, we are very thankful for the generous families who brought us their new and gently used trains so that kids could continue to play with our train table.
