Hey Lyn, I always enjoy your emails! So, is this new “Guido Garcias” located at the former Carefree Station? Sounds fabulous.
Rhonda Heinricher
(Lyn's note: It's located in the same part of Spanish Village, but not in Carefree Station's old location. It's beside it, with the blue umbrellas on the patio. The fettuccini with pesto and smoked salmon or chicken is my favorite, and it's really lovely to sit on the lower patio. Owners Chrissy and Troy are very nice.)
Yeah!!!!! Poor puppy! Glad he made it back home...!

WOW - great news, esp. for a ‘hot dog’ that cute!
Pat Patterson
Wonderful. Yay!!

Oh thank goodness. Every time I hear that a small dog gets away from home on their own, I can't help but think the worst. I'm so happy to begin the day with this news!

Hi Lyn,
I wanted to thank you so much for the absolutely beautiful video! Herbie does great work! We are so grateful to have the video. It is absolutely breath taking!! Again, please tell Herbie how beautiful his photography is. I sent it to the kids and they just raved over it! You can use my comments in your news.
Thank you so very much.

(Lyn's note: Fannie and Jake's son was recently married at their house in Carefree. For fun, Herbert shot a short video and some photos for them. It was a lovely setting and a beautiful ceremony. Congratulations to the bride and groom!)
Anytime we're in Alberto's now, I notice he is busier, which is so nice😄. I'm always so happy to see local businesses do well. It's so hard to compete with these chain restaurants for the little mom and pop businesses. We thought it was closed also. That sign made it sound like the building was for rent. Following are my thoughts about Alberto's.
Everyone that was at that rehearsal dinner just raved about the food. A lot of them were friends from out of town that had visited before, and they were so thrilled that the rehearsal dinner was held there😄. They were happy to taste his food again. It's so refreshing to get authentic, home made cooking. The home made bread and pasta are to die for!
The service and staff are amazing! I just love them all😍😍😍. They are just great people. They take time to chat with you. I'm so sad to hear Melissa is leaving. Alberto himself comes around and makes sure everyone is taken care of. This restaurant reminds me of the old fashioned, mom and pop restaurant I grew up with, where the owner was part of the community and everyone knew him and he knew everyone. I miss that in today's world of chain restaurants.
