Desert Foothills Theater’s youth program DFT Gecko Teatro received 13 ariZoni Award nominations this year (only their 3rd adjudicated production ever) for our production of Seussical, Jr.. The young artists were invited to perform a selection from that production, at the ariZoni Award ceremony (which is Monday night).

However, our community friends and neighbors can get a sneak peak of that performance when they have their final rehearsal at Harold’s on Sunday, September 18 (THIS SUNDAY) at the 2nd Annual Noodles & Notes Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser to benefit DFT Gecko Teatro Youth Theater.

Come on out and cheer them on! The Suessical, Jr. presentation will be early in the evening (between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.) as the performers in that piece then need to head to the Tempe Center for the Arts for their final rehearsal on stage. Can’t make it early, don’t worry. We have lots of amazing young performers set to take the stage in benefit of Desert Foothills Theater.
