NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE CAREFREE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

WHEN: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2013

WHERE: TOWN HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TIME: 5:00 p.m.

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Carefree and to the public that the Commission will hold a meeting open to the public at 5:00 p.m. on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2013 in the Town Hall Council Chambers at 100 Easy Street in Carefree.

THE AGENDA FOR THE MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS:

CALL TO ORDER, SILENT ROLL CALL and PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.

AGENDA ITEM 1: APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Meeting of July 9, 2012.

AGENDA ITEM 2: ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN.

AGENDA ITEM 3: DISCUSSION, consideration and possible action to initiate amendments to Section 3.04 of the Zoning Ordinance to enable the Planning and Zoning Commission to act as the Board of Adjustment rather than the Town Council. Public comments will be taken.

AGENDA ITEM 4: DISCUSSION, consideration and possible action to initiate amendments to the Zoning Ordinance (and Zoning Map) to create a new zoning district, OPEN SPACE-RECREATION. Public comments will be taken.

AGENDA ITEM 5: ANNOUNCEMENTS.
