NOTICE OF A MEETING OF THE CAREFREE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION

Pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Carefree and to the public that the Commission will hold a meeting open to the public at 5:00 p.m. on MONDAY, JUNE 10, 2013 in the Town Hall Council Chambers at 100 Easy Street in Carefree.

THE AGENDA FOR THE MEETING IS AS FOLLOWS:

CALL TO ORDER, SILENT ROLL CALL and PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE.

AGENDA ITEM 1: ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN and VICE CHAIRMAN by the Planning and Zoning Commissioners.

AGENDA ITEM 2: APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Meeting of May 20, 2013.

AGENDA ITEM 3: PUBLIC HEARING, discussion and possible action on the following ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT. Public comments will be taken.

REQUEST: APPROVAL of proposed TEXT AMENDMENTS TO THE CAREFREE ZONING ORDINANCE in Article V. Uses Permitted in in Each Zoning District and Additional Requirements and Clarifications for Uses Permitted in Each Zoning District to allow residential units on the second story of existing buildings located in the Commercial (C) zoning district.

AGENDA ITEM 4: DISCUSSION, consideration and possible action to initiate text amendments to the Zoning Ordinance concerning real estate and open house signs. Public comments will be taken.
