NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN OF CAREFREE COMMON COUNCIL

WHEN: Monday, OCTOBER 7, 2013

WHERE: CAREFREE TOWN HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS

TIME: 5:00 P.M.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the members of the Common Council of the Town of Carefree, Arizona and to the general public that the members of the Common Council will hold a meeting open to the public on Monday, October 7, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at the Carefree Town Hall Council Chambers located at 100 Easy Street, in Carefree.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

ITEM #1- Discussion and possible action to go into Executive Session in accordance with

A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3) for discussion or consultation for legal advice with the

attorney of the Town to discuss the following matters:

A. An Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Cave Creek for the

consolidation of the Carefree and Cave Creek Municipal Courts

B. A letter from the Mayor to the Arizona Corporation Commission regarding

sewer rates.

ITEM #2- Discussions and possible action to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Town of Cave Creek for the consolidation of the Carefree and Cave Creek

Municipal Courts.

ITEM #3- Discussion and possible action regarding a letter from the Mayor to the Arizona

Corporation Commission regarding sewer rates.

ITEM #4- Adjournment.
